Series: C - Electric capstan winch
Planetary capstans
Equipped with a cast iron capstan head mounted on a heavy duty planetary gearbox. Its drive is set in a watertight tube frame providing extra protection. Capstans up to 15 tons can be offered upon request.
Wormgear capstans
Provided with self-braking worm gear drives powered by electric, hydraulic or pneumatic motors (on-deck or below-deck types are available). An on-deck drive is equipped with a waterproof motor for intermittent use. A below-deck drive is equipped with a dripwater-proof motor and a mounting plate with an extra self-aligning bearing for high static loads.
Pneumatic or hydraulic drives are also available - on request.
